zMed Healthcare Technologies launches AI-driven critical care platform
zMed Healthcare Technologies has announced the launch of Version 3 of its AI-driven Critical Care Platform. The company, which is based in Bangalore and Chennai with offices in the United States, has developed this unified hospital software suite to integrate intensive care, clinical workflows, and hospital administration into a single system.
The platform features real-time patient monitoring, digital ICU charting, and a tele-ICU module for remote specialist consultation. It includes an AI-enabled clinical decision support layer designed to provide early warnings for patient deterioration, sepsis surveillance, and medication safety. Additionally, the system offers vendor-neutral device integration to automatically sync data from existing hospital equipment.
Version 3 expands the platform's capabilities beyond the ICU to include a full Hospital Information System (HIS) for patient registration, outpatient and inpatient management, and billing, alongside a hospital ERP for procurement and inventory management. The company is incubated at the IIT Madras Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre and the NASSCOM Centre of Excellence for IoT and AI.
