Znojmo region hosts cultural festivals and traditional celebrations

The Znojmo region in the Czech Republic will host several cultural and traditional events from September 4 to 6, 2026.

Key highlights include the Bread Festival in Slup on Saturday, which focuses on milling, agriculture, and traditional crafts through folklore performances and markets. In Znojmo, the Festival of Znojmo Wines will take place near the St. Catherine Rotunda, featuring local wine tastings and regional gastronomy. Additionally, the film premiere ‘Mé dobré město Znojmo’ is scheduled for Friday at the Svět cinema to commemorate the city's 800th anniversary.

Other regional activities include the ‘Zarážení hory s Hroznovou kozou’ procession in Havraníky and Popice, an international bat night in Hnanice, and a puppet festival in the South Moravian region.
