Zoe Cristofoli criticizes European security following Milan robbery

Italian influencer Zoe Cristofoli, wife of footballer Theo Hernandez, has sparked controversy following her comments on rising violence and theft in Europe. Reacting to footage of a shopkeeper in Milan attempting to defend his business with a stick during a robbery, Cristofoli suggested that the harsh penal codes used in Saudi Arabia, such as amputation for theft, might be a necessary deterrent.

She referred to those committing such crimes as ‘animals’ and stated, ‘There is no excuse, they should just be eliminated!’

In response to accusations of racism, Cristofoli defended her stance, asserting that questioning the increasing violence and riots in Italy, France, and other European nations is not an act of racism. She argued that society must address why these situations have become so difficult to manage and emphasized that violence itself is never acceptable.
