Zoe Florescu Potolea competes in F1 Academy at Zandvoort

Romanian driver Zoe Florescu Potolea competed in the F1 Academy event at the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands. Competing as a Wild Card entry with Hitech GP, Florescu faced significant challenges during the race weekend.

Following a disqualification from the qualifying session due to the type of oil used in her car's engine, Florescu was forced to start the Reverse Grid race from the back of the field. Despite this setback, she managed to advance to 11th place during that session. However, in the Feature Race, she finished in 18th place, unable to gain further positions despite maintaining a close gap to the cars ahead.

The event was dominated by Alisha Palmowski of Red Bull Racing and Alba Larsen of Scuderia Ferrari, who finished first and second respectively.
