Zoe Konstantopoulou tells ex‑MP Michalis Chourdakis he’ll sit on the stairs

Former Freedom Movement MP Michalis Chourdakis, now a PASOK parliamentary member, said in a podcast interview that Zoe Konstantopoulou demanded he hand over a parliamentary office for her collaborators. When he asked where he would work, she replied, “Στις σκάλες” (“on the stairs”). Chourdakis recounted that the episode contributed to his break with Konstantopoulou and that he refused to surrender the office after leaving the Freedom Movement.

Health Minister Adonis Georgiadi later referenced the interview, describing Konstantopoulou’s behavior as “αλίμονό” (a lemon) in a social‑media post.
