Zoe Mesman discusses coaching transition to WNBL

Tasmania Jewels assistant coach Zoe Mesman has described the transition to the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) as a significant learning experience. Mesman, who has been tasked with managing the newcomers' defense, noted that the elite level of play requires a much higher degree of precision and detail than previous levels of competition.

Mesman highlighted the importance of accurate scouting and precise decision-making to prevent opponents from exploiting weaknesses. She expressed appreciation for the support of head coach Claudia Brassard and fellow assistant Jack Fleming, noting that the environment has provided her with new tools for player development and review that she intends to apply to her work with the Northern Force in NBL1.
