Zofri S.A. user associations demand structural rental tariff corrections

Three user associations representing Zofri S.A. tenants have met with the company's interim General Manager, Enrique Montealegre, to demand structural corrections to rental tariffs. The groups involved include the Asociación Usuarios Zofri A.G. (AUZ), the Asociación de Usuarios Pymes Mall Zofri, and the Unión de Empresarios Zofri (UEZ).

While the associations acknowledged progress regarding deadline extensions, proportional discounts for days the mall was closed, and the use of transfer invoices for merchandise valuation, they emphasized that critical issues remain unresolved. Specifically, they are seeking a formal, written response with definitive timelines regarding the definition of rental rates and the mechanism for implementing discounts.

The representatives, including Viviana Brontis, Ariel Lepiske, and Darío Blanco, stated that the primary goal is to establish fair rental rates aligned with actual market values. They argued that the current need for temporary or one-off discounts should be replaced by a permanent structural adjustment to address long-standing tariff discrepancies.
