Zogaj resident challenges Kosovo Mufti over Belgrade remarks

A local resident from Zogaj, Mirushe Musa, has issued a sharp response to controversial remarks attributed to the Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava. The dispute centers on a statement allegedly made by Tërnava: “Kush s’mun i sheh xhamitë, le t’ia mësyjë Beogradit” (Those who cannot see the mosques, let them go to Belgrade).

Musa rejects the sentiment, asserting that the local community's identity and patriotism are rooted in their land, language, and history rather than religious decrees. She emphasizes that the residents of Zogaj and Kosovo at large do not consider Belgrade an address for their people, regardless of religious or political influence.
