Zoi Konstantopoulou urges conviction of ex‑transport minister over Tempi crash
Parents of victims of the 2023 Tempi train disaster gathered at the Supreme Court in Athens, demanding that former transport minister Kosta A. Karamanlis be sentenced for the tragedy. Led by Zoi Konstantopoulou, president of the Freedom Movement, the families accused the government of covering up evidence and called for the full criminal responsibility of high‑ranking officials.
In a televised interview Konstantopoulou reiterated the need for a thorough investigation, criticized attempts to shield politicians, and mentioned her own pending lawsuit against Adonis Georgiades. She emphasized that uncovering the buried files and holding all culpable parties accountable remains essential for justice.
