Zoi Papandreou passes away at age 82

Zoi Papandreou has passed away at the age of 82. She was the widow of the former priest of Farra Parish, Athanasios Papandreou.

She was the mother of Sotiris Papandreou, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper ‘Peloponnesos’. This loss comes shortly after Sotiris Papandreou lost both of his parents within a six-month period due to health complications. Zoi Papandreou is survived by her children, Andreas Papandreou and Sotiris Papandreou, as well as her daughter-in-law, Evgenia Maropoulou Liarousi, and two grandchildren.

The funeral service is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. at the Holy Church of the Theotokos Epiphany in the community of Farra.
