Zoltán Tarr criticizes former Orbán government over state celebrations

Zoltán Tarr, the Minister responsible for social relations and culture, criticized the previous Orbán administration regarding the celebration of Hungary's state foundation day. In a social media post, Tarr contrasted the current year's celebrations with the previous year's events at Pannonhalma.

He claimed that while the former government spent 14 billion HUF on celebrations that he characterized as attempts to mock Péter Magyar and the Tisza event, the current administration has provided a dignified, proud, and peaceful celebration. Tarr stated that the country has returned to a path defined by the rule of law, European values, and unity, rather than focusing on divisive political campaigns.
