Zomato rider allegedly sells customer food in Gurugram

A customer in Gurugram, Rishabh Kaushik, reported an incident involving a Zomato delivery rider who allegedly failed to deliver a late-night meal ordered from Khadak Singh Da Dhaba.

After noticing the delivery tracker showed the rider stationary for approximately 40 minutes, Kaushik went outside to investigate. He reportedly discovered the delivery partner selling or sharing the food with others. Kaushik shared photos of the partially eaten food packets and screenshots of the tracker on X, criticizing the service by suggesting it had become a “food-sharing economy.”

Zomato Care has contacted the customer to request his order ID to initiate an investigation into the matter.
