ZondaCrypto operator bankruptcy requires creditors to file claims by October deadline

Following the bankruptcy of BB Trade Estonia OÜ, the operator of the ZondaCrypto cryptocurrency exchange, authorities have issued urgent instructions for affected creditors. The Harju County Court in Tallinn officially declared the company bankrupt on August 27, 2026.

The Polish National Prosecutor's Office and Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek have emphasized that filing a criminal report is not sufficient to recover lost funds. To participate in the insolvency proceedings, victims must submit their financial claims directly to the appointed trustee, Margus Lentsius of the law firm Advokaadibüroo Lentsius & CASUS.
