Zong launches PecoDrop smart waste management stations

Zong, a Pakistani technology services enterprise, has partnered with ISP Environmental Solutions (ISPES) to launch PecoDrop, a smart waste management station initiative. The program aims to integrate technology and circular-economy principles into workplace sustainability by enabling source-level segregation of recyclable plastic, paper, and metal.

The PecoDrop system utilizes a digitally enabled management platform to capture data on material deposits, volumes, and collections, creating a traceable data chain from disposal to recovery. To encourage participation, the initiative includes an integrated rewards mechanism where employees earn digital credits for depositing recyclable materials, which can then be redeemed for rewards.
