Zonguldak hosts judicial year opening and political addresses

In Zonguldak, the 2026-2027 judicial year officially commenced with a ceremony held in front of the Zonguldak Governor's Office. During the event, Zonguldak Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Kapağan emphasized that justice must be both correct and timely, stating, “Our goal is to bring fair trial and rapid trial together in the same pot.” He highlighted the importance of judicial independence, impartiality, and respect for human dignity.

Separately, Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ addressed members of the press in Zonguldak. Özdağ criticized the current economic management and expressed concerns regarding potential constitutional changes and amnesty proposals. He called for national unity to protect the unitary character of the Republic and addressed the economic challenges facing the Turkish people and the industrial sector.
