Zonta International advances women's rights globally

Zonta International, an organization dedicated to advancing women's rights and equality, has grown from its 1919 origins in Buffalo, USA, into a global network. The organization currently comprises over 25,000 members across 1,093 clubs in 64 countries.

Operating through service projects, educational support, and socio-political advocacy, Zonta aims to ensure women and girls live lives free from violence and with self-determination. Since 1923, the organization has invested more than $50.9 million to improve economic and educational opportunities and safety for women and girls.

Zonta holds General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and maintains participatory status with the Council of Europe, allowing it to contribute expertise to international policy processes.
