Silverstone MotoGP weekend sees Quartararo penalized and Aji finish 22nd

During the MotoGP weekend at the Silverstone Circuit, several riders experienced varying results. Fabio Quartararo received a 16-second post-race penalty due to a technical infringement. Technical delegates found that his motorcycle's onboard receiver was not correctly configured to record front tyre pressure data from the sensor. While not a penalty for low pressure itself, the inability to provide mandatory data violated regulations, dropping Quartararo from 12th to 16th place.

In the Moto2 class, Indonesian rider Mario Suryo Aji faced a difficult weekend. Following a collision during the second qualifying session (Q2) that resulted in a red flag, Aji started the race from 18th position. He ultimately finished in 22nd place, failing to secure points.

In the FIM MotoMini competition, 13-year-old Dutch rider Sep van der Zwart achieved a successful international debut at Silverstone. Competing in the Ohvale 160cc class, Van der Zwart secured two second-place finishes across the Saturday races after qualifying fourth.
