Tiny house innovations feature container conversions and wide A-frame designs

Various companies are expanding the possibilities of compact living through specialized tiny house designs. In Ohio, the Hocking Hills Cottage Company has transformed a 6-meter shipping container into the Luna Cottage. This 24-square-meter residence features an expanded layout including a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom, complemented by an outdoor space with a hot tub and hanging chairs.

Additionally, Zook Cabins has introduced the A-Frame Bunkhouse, a 37-square-meter mobile home designed for families of up to four. Unlike standard tiny houses, this model utilizes a quad-axle trailer to accommodate an unusual width of 4.2 meters, providing a more spacious, apartment-like interior. The structure features a large glass facade, corrugated metal cladding, and a single-floor layout optimized for vacation use.
