Zoom appoints former Oracle CFO Jeff Epstein to board

Zoom Video Communications has appointed Jeff Epstein to its Board of Directors. Epstein, an operating partner at Bessemer Venture Partners and former Executive Vice President and CFO of Oracle, will serve as a Class I director and join the company’s audit committee. His tenure is expected to run through the company’s 2029 annual meeting.

Zoom CEO Eric Yuan cited Epstein’s expertise in B2B software and vertical AI as key drivers for the appointment. This move aligns with Zoom’s strategic expansion from video conferencing into a broader enterprise communications and AI-powered workplace platform.

Epstein’s appointment follows the announcement that Jonathan Chadwick will retire from the board on November 19, 2026, after nearly a decade of service. Epstein brings significant governance experience, currently holding board seats at Autodesk, AvePoint, and Twilio.
