Zoomerij Oosterbeek library to undergo redesign for municipal services

The Zoomerij Oosterbeek library will be temporarily closed from Monday, August 24, to Saturday, August 29, for a facility redesign. The renovation aims to prepare the space for the upcoming integration of Renkum municipality's public services.

By hosting municipal services alongside library facilities, the location intends to become a central hub for community interaction, knowledge, and information. Director Doeko Pinxt noted that the move will create new opportunities to support residents through initiatives such as the Digital Government Information Point and basic skills improvement. The building is expected to see increased social utility, functioning from early morning through evening with a mix of municipal services, library access, and cultural activities.
