Zoox expands robotaxi service to Las Vegas airport

Zoox has expanded its robotaxi service in Las Vegas, now including service to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). The autonomous vehicle service, which has been operating in the city for approximately a year, previously focused on a fixed network of hotels and attractions, including the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Sphere, and the T-Mobile Arena.

Recent operations indicate a transition toward fully driverless commercial service. Users have reported completing trips between major resorts, such as from the Aria to the Wynn, without a Zoox employee on board. While demand for the service remains high, users have noted challenges including vehicle availability and wait times. The Zoox vehicles feature bidirectional capability and face-to-face seating, though they lack dedicated luggage storage, requiring passengers to place bags in the center of the vehicle.
