Zoran Gerasimovski appointed acting head of Skopje Court of Appeal

The Judicial Council elected judge Zoran Gerasimovski as acting chair of the Court of Appeal in Skopje after the previous chair, Meri Dika, was appointed to the Constitutional Court. At the same session the council chose Nderim Polisi as acting chair of the Basic Court in Struga. The council also announced competitions to select permanent chairs for both courts and formed commissions to evaluate the selection procedures. Additional matters discussed included the pension eligibility of judges Vullnet Vinca and Tatjana Susulevska.

These appointments are temporary, pending the outcome of the forthcoming selection processes for the permanent leadership of the two courts.
