Zoran Janković and Nina Zidar Klemenčič reach legal settlement

Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković and lawyer Nina Zidar Klemenčič have reached a legal settlement to resolve a dispute involving controversial video recordings. The conflict arose after recordings were published on the anti-corruption2026 website, in which Zidar Klemenčič allegedly claimed that Janković took a ten percent commission on every business deal.

In their joint settlement agreement, both parties stated that the disputed recordings were not original files but had been subsequently edited or manipulated. Zidar Klemenčič asserted that she has no evidence or knowledge suggesting that Janković or any persons associated with him ever requested, provided, or received any commissions, bribes, or unauthorized benefits.

Janković had previously filed a private criminal and compensatory lawsuit against Zidar Klemenčič in April, characterizing her claims as false and defamatory.
