Zoran Stevanović pays €12,000 owed to three former Progros workers in Slovenia

Party president Zoran Stevanović announced that he has settled outstanding wages for three former employees of the construction firm Progros, paying a total of €12,000 – €6,000 to one worker and €3,000 to each of the other two. Progros is owned by MP Boris Mijić, who is expected to address the debt publicly.

Stevanović said the payment closes the case and asserted that any further accountability for Mijić will be determined by the appropriate party and legal bodies. He also warned of broader payment discipline issues in the construction sector and hinted at a forthcoming amendment to the construction‑law to protect subcontractors.

The dispute follows Stevanović’s 2004 conviction for threatening another person, which has resurfaced in media coverage of the current settlement.
