Zoran Stevanović publishes Robert Golob’s private phone number

A political controversy has emerged in Slovenia following the publication of former Prime Minister Robert Golob’s private phone number by the Resnična Slovenija party. The party, led by Zoran Stevanović, shared images of handwritten notes on social media containing two phone numbers, one of which was Golob’s full number.

Stevanović demanded explanations from Golob regarding the origin of the notes and what was being offered in them, claiming he has endured “mafia pressure” for six months. In response, Tina Gaber Golob criticized the move as a violation of boundaries, stating that Golob has been inundated with calls and messages from strangers, some of which have been threatening. She noted that the incidents have been reported to the police.

The dispute follows a recent interview where Golob mentioned a private meeting with Stevanović, during which Stevanović reportedly proposed that Golob become the President of the National Assembly—a proposal Golob declined.
