Zore Valley becomes new destination for domestic tourists

Zore Valley, located between the Kulp district of Diyarbakır and the Sason district of Batman, has emerged as a new destination for domestic tourists and nature enthusiasts. Long characterized by locals as a ‘hidden paradise,’ the area had previously seen limited visitation due to security concerns.

Following improvements in the regional security environment, the valley is experiencing an increase in visitors from surrounding provinces. The site is noted for its steep cliffs, lush vegetation, and clear waters, offering activities such as hiking, swimming, and photography. While visitors have highlighted the area's significant tourism potential, they also noted that improving transportation infrastructure could further increase visitor numbers and benefit the local economy.
