Zorlu Enerji to sell Electrip Global stake for $147.6 million

Zorlu Enerji has signed an agreement to transfer its entire stake in Electrip Global Limited to Wren House Infrastructure LP and the Kuwait Investment Authority. The total sale price for the transaction is approximately $147.6 million.

The deal involves the transfer of all A-group shares, which represent 41.28% of the voting rights in Electrip Global. Following the completion of the transaction, which is expected by October 22, 2026, Zorlu Enerji’s ownership and voting rights in the entity will be zero.

Zorlu Enerji intends to use the proceeds from the sale to fund investment expenditures and repay certain financial obligations. The sale price represents roughly 20.1% of the company’s most recent annual revenue. Electrip Global operates ZES, an electric vehicle charging service provider; however, the company stated that no changes to user services or charging tariffs are expected as a result of this structural change.
