Zostel launches premium Zo Selections brand with first hotel in Jaipur

Zostel, under its parent company Zo World, has launched a new premium hospitality brand called Zo Selections. The brand’s inaugural property has opened in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The Jaipur location features private rooms, Jacuzzi suites, dedicated workstations, and an in-house restaurant named Amaano, which serves Rajasthani cuisine. The property is designed to offer social and community-led experiences, including workshops, bonfires, and sundowner events, targeting travelers seeking more than traditional hostel dormitories.

CEO Aviral Gupta stated that the brand aims to build upon the community the company has developed over 13 years rather than simply creating another five-star hotel. Following the Jaipur launch, Zo Selections plans to expand to Gokarna, with subsequent properties planned for Mussoorie, Pench, and Lonavla.

Zostel has grown from a single 24-bed hostel in Jodhpur in 2013 to approximately 5,000 beds across India, Nepal, and Thailand. The company recently reached its 100th location in Phuket and has expanded its international presence through a partnership with the European hostel group Safestay. Zo World has set a long-term goal of reaching 10,000 beds.
