Zottegem Christmas market expands with new winter pavilion

The Christmas market in Zottegem is undergoing a significant transformation this year. Organized by 9620 Events—an initiative involving cafés De Zoeten Inval, Planchee, and James—the festivities will feature an expanded program and a new covered winter pavilion located on the Markt.

The central pavilion will host a Christmas bar and four chalets operated by permanent vendors. The bar is scheduled to operate from December 3 to December 27, excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The program includes live bands, DJs, family days, and evening markets.

In addition to the Markt, the Christmas market will extend to the Zavel area. Markets will be held there over three weekends: December 12–13, December 19–20, and December 26–27.
