ZOZO partners with UNHCR for refugee support initiative

ZOZO, Inc. has entered into a partnership with the UNHCR Association to support refugee relief efforts. As the first initiative of this collaboration, ZOZO has launched the pre-order sale of a charity bracelet designed in collaboration with the Chiba Lotte Marines baseball team.

The bracelets are part of the MADE51 initiative, a global brand led by the UNHCR that empowers refugee artisans to create handcrafted goods using traditional techniques. These specific bracelets are handmade by refugee artisans in South Sudan using glass beadwork.

For each bracelet sold, 4 USD will go directly to the refugee artisans for production and support, while 2 USD will be donated to UNHCR's global refugee assistance activities. Additionally, ZOZO will donate 10 million yen to the UNHCR Association to further support humanitarian efforts. To mark International Peace Day on September 21, a sponsored game will be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium featuring special promotional activities and messages from Chiba Lotte Marines players.
