ZOZOTOWN launches first Korean pop-up store in Seongsu-dong via Musinsa partnership
Japanese fashion platform ZOZOTOWN has launched its first pop-up store in South Korea at the Musinsa Store in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. The two-week event showcases 15 curated Japanese brands, including United Arrows, SNIDEL, and merry jenny, aiming to introduce Japanese fashion trends to Korean consumers.
This initiative marks an expansion of the strategic partnership established between Musinsa and ZOZOTOWN in late 2024. While previous collaborations focused on introducing Korean fashion brands to the Japanese market, this project utilizes Musinsa’s offline and online infrastructure to bring Japanese brands to Korea. The partnership includes an online exhibition on the Musinsa store to drive digital sales following the physical pop-up experience.
According to Musinsa, the barrier between Korean and Japanese fashion is decreasing, with transaction volume on Musinsa’s global store for Japanese customers increasing more than fivefold compared to 2023.
