ZPRP Referees Meeting and Labor Law Conference in Poland

The Polish Handball Referees College, led by Chairwoman Joanna Brehmer, held a meeting with media representatives to discuss current EHF guidelines and handball rule interpretations. The session addressed decision-making criteria and insights from the IHF Forum in Cairo regarding potential rule changes. Additionally, the College addressed irregularities concerning a match between KPR Gminy Kobierzyce and KRASOŃ MKS Piotrcovia, which resulted in an ordered replay following a successful protest.

In Racibor, a two-day conference at the Piast Castle focused on labor law disputes. The event included practical panels analyzing court rulings on disciplinary dismissals, employee privacy, and sick leave abuse. The scientific portion of the conference addressed modern challenges, such as the use of generative artificial intelligence in the workplace, employee liability regarding AI, and copyright issues for works created during employment. Other topics included mobbing, discrimination, and reforms to the State Labor Inspection.
