Zárate and Monzón reach ITF M15 semifinals

Argentine tennis players Carlos María Zárate and Ignacio Monzón have both advanced to the semifinals of their respective ITF M15 tournaments.

In Mar del Plata, Argentina, Zárate, the second seed, secured his place in the semifinals by defeating Tomás Martínez in straight sets, 6-4 and 6-1. He is scheduled to face Chilean player Bastián Malla in the next round.

In Pécs, Hungary, Monzón advanced to the semifinals after a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Italy's Leonardo Angeloni. Monzón will compete in his semifinal match against Sweden's John Hallquist Lithen.
