Zárate business owners contest municipal bar closure
Owners of Mauris Bar in Zárate have strongly contested a preventive closure ordered by the local municipality. The business owners released a video and statement rejecting official explanations, claiming they were never informed that the operation was a routine inspection and that municipal agents arrived already prepared with closure tape.
The establishment's management asserts that they have always complied with regulations and denied receiving neighbor complaints regarding noise. They further accused the municipality of spreading falsehoods that damage their commercial reputation and questioned the competence of the Undersecretary of Security, alleging he attempted to close the venue without proper knowledge of its licensing status. The owners noted that a municipal camera located in front of the business recorded the entire operation.
