Zrádci reality show premiere sparks controversy and celebrity attendance

The premiere of the third season of the Czech reality show ‘Zrádci’ (The Traitors) has drawn significant attention due to both its controversial content and its star-studded launch event.

During the filming at Křivoklát Castle, contestants engaged in physical altercations while competing for tools to break through glass containers. The intensity of the conflict, which included biting and physical shoving, reportedly shocked the show’s creators, Markus Krug and host Vojtěch Kotek. While some viewers found the aggression entertaining, others criticized the show for crossing a line into unnecessary violence.

The premiere event itself featured numerous Czech celebrities, including Ewa Farna and Leoš Mareš. The evening was described as highly informal, with guests engaging in lively discussions and, in some cases, removing their shoes as the night progressed.
