Lugano secures victory ahead of Red Star Belgrade clash

Swiss club Lugano secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Lucerne, boosting their confidence ahead of their upcoming Conference League match against Red Star Belgrade. Lugano has enjoyed a strong start to the season, accumulating 28 points from ten matches, with Young Boys being the only team to deny them a win.

Renato Steffen, the team captain, highlighted the squad's strong internal cohesion and positive atmosphere as key factors in their success. He noted that the team prioritizes collective achievement over individual performance, which has made them a difficult opponent to beat since their last league defeat in May.
