ZSSK railway schedules Slovakia summer offer cross-border transport train travel

The Slovak national passenger rail operator, Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK), has extended its summer travel promotion through August 31. The offer provides unlimited travel on ZSSK trains throughout Slovakia for seven days for EUR 35 via the ‘SLOVAK TÝŽDEŇ’ weekly ticket.

Discounted options are available for specific demographics. Young people up to age 26 holding a JUNIOR card can access a seven-day pass for EUR 19, while KLASIK cardholders aged 26 or older can use the SLOVAK KLASIK option for EUR 29. The EUR 35 ticket is currently the most popular choice, accounting for approximately two-thirds of all SLOVAK tickets sold this summer.
