ZTE and Qingxinichuang roll out new humanoid robots featuring integrated operating systems
ZTE unveiled its Star series of humanoid robots during the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The lineup includes the lightweight full‑size "Xingzai" robot (1.6 m tall, 30 kg), designed for commercial services such as reception and guidance, and industrial models "Xingwang" and "Xingqi" capable of heavy payloads, long endurance and precision tasks in manufacturing and power‑line inspection. The series also comprises a high‑flexibility robotic arm, the Star‑Qiao dexterous hand series, and a unified control platform with proprietary high‑performance processors, aiming to accelerate embodied‑intelligence adoption across multiple sectors.
Separately, Qingxinichuang introduced the plush 80 cm Amoo robot together with its self‑developed Dino OS. The three‑layer operating system (Infra, Brain, Module) implements a "dual‑brain" design that separates fast reactive control from slower contextual reasoning, enabling stable, low‑latency motion and safe interaction. The modular architecture allows developers to add new functionalities without re‑writing low‑level code, addressing the fragmentation that hampers many consumer‑grade robots. Both announcements highlight a push toward more integrated, adaptable humanoid robotics for service and industrial applications.
