ZTE and Yuantong Express report growth driven by AI integration

Several Chinese companies have released semiannual reports highlighting growth driven by artificial intelligence and service expansion.

ZTE Corporation reported a record revenue of 78.03 billion yuan for the first half of 2026, a 9.0% year-on-year increase. The company saw significant growth in its computing power sector, with revenue rising over 55%, now accounting for 35.1% of total revenue. This growth was supported by a 90% increase in data center products and a 33.1% rise in international market revenue.

Yuantong Express reported a 73.44% increase in net profit, reaching 3.175 billion yuan. The company is increasingly integrating AI into its logistics operations, using machine vision and intelligent monitoring to reduce package loss rates by nearly 38% and decrease package damage by 25.2%. AI-driven arbitration now handles approximately 12,000 claims daily with a 98% accuracy rate.

Kaixin reported a 31.4% increase in system platform and service revenue, reaching 11.9 million yuan. This growth reflects a strategic shift from simple hardware delivery to providing integrated solutions, including digital video equipment and AI-driven home services like the Cedar home AI agent.
