ZTE Global Summit opens in Kuala Lumpur to discuss AI and digital value

The 15th ZTE Global Summit & User Congress has opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Held alongside the GSMA M360 ASEAN, the event focuses on the theme ‘Architecting Infinity–From Connectivity to Digital Value’, exploring the evolution of networks and the integration of artificial intelligence into the digital economy.

ZTE showcased various AI-driven solutions, including full-scenario AI networks and an ‘AI Factory’ designed to optimize total cost of ownership. The summit has gathered over 500 participants, including government officials, ICT industry leaders, and global operator executives.

Malaysian officials emphasized the importance of moving beyond basic connectivity to create tangible economic value. Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil urged technology partners to ‘build with Malaysia’ by developing local talent and national capabilities. Minister of Digital Gobind Singh Deo noted that Malaysia aims to become an ‘AI Nation by 2030’, requiring a focus on local innovation and trusted governance.
