ZTE returns to Finnish smartphone market with nubia brand
ZTE is re-entering the Finnish smartphone market with four new models under the nubia brand. The company, which previously focused on routers and children's smartwatches in the region, is expanding its mobile device presence through major retailers including DNA, Telia, Verkkokauppa.com, and Gigantti.
The new lineup includes:
• nubia Neo 5 GT: The flagship of the group, priced at 429 euros, featuring a 6.8-inch AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. • nubia Air Pro: A model focused on thinness and durability, priced at 399 euros, featuring a 6.77-inch AMOLED display and a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. • nubia Air: A 6.78-inch model priced at 269 euros, powered by a Unisoc T8300 chipset. • nubia A57: An entry-level option priced at 189 euros, designed for children or first-time users, featuring a 6.75-inch display and a Unisoc T7250 chipset.
Retailers have noted that the return of the brand increases consumer choice. While ZTE has faced previous security scrutiny from the European Commission regarding network infrastructure, its consumer mobile products are now being made available through several large Finnish distributors.
