Zuid-Holland funds WE-Circulair program for regional businesses

The province of Zuid-Holland has granted subsidies for the implementation of the four-year WE-Circulair program. This initiative involves Greenport West-Holland, Groene Hart Circulair, and TeamNXT (Rotterdam) working alongside businesses and educational partners to promote circular entrepreneurship.

Regional companies can submit specific practical questions to find technically feasible and economically viable solutions for material reuse, waste reduction, and better utilization of residual streams. The program aims to connect innovation with the development of practical skills on the work floor, initially targeting sectors such as construction, horticulture, metal, and installation technology.

The first project will be developed within the Groene Hart Circulair network, focusing on material reuse, circular renovation, and reducing waste at construction sites.
