Zulia Government and Avícola Doña Clara partner to boost agroindustrial production

The Zulia State Government has entered into a partnership with the private company Avícola Doña Clara to boost agroindustrial production and ensure local food security. The initiative, supported by the Venezuelan national government through the Ministry of Food, aims to reactivate the regional economy and supply local markets.

Currently, the farm operates at 20% to 25% of its installed capacity, utilizing automated technology in over 90% of its facilities. The facility employs more than 120 workers and currently houses 54,000 birds, with an additional 50,000 expected in the coming weeks. Approximately 80% to 90% of the production is designated for regional markets via the weekly Feria del Campo Soberano.

Avícola Doña Clara currently produces 1.5 million eggs per month. The company has set a target to reach 2.5 million eggs per month by the end of 2026. The long-term strategic plan aims for full operational capacity by 2027, with a goal of producing 5.5 million eggs monthly to meet the state's demand.
