Zulkifli Hasan calls for Malaysian diversity to be a source of strength

During the national Maulidur Rasul celebration at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr Zulkifli Hasan emphasized that Malaysia's multiculturalism should be utilized as a strength to build a society based on morality, justice, and mutual respect.

Dr Zulkifli cited the Prophet Muhammad's approach in managing the diverse society of Medina as a model for fostering harmony. He noted that the Prophet successfully translated diversity into a unifying force, building bridges of humanity between Muslims and non-Muslims.

He further urged citizens to uphold social harmony by rejecting hate speech and provocations that could damage communal relations, stating that devotion to the Prophet should lead to peace and reconciliation rather than hostility.
