Zuma Athens to open at Riviera Galleria in The Ellinikon

The internationally recognized Japanese gastronomy brand Zuma Athens is set to open at Riviera Galleria, a new premium shopping and dining destination located within The Ellinikon in the Athens Riviera.

Designed by renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the Riviera Galleria features a design inspired by the movement of the Greek sea, emphasizing natural light and the surrounding landscape. The restaurant's concept for Athens blends Japanese cultural elements with Greek mythology, specifically combining the Sakamori philosophy of communal gathering with the figure of Aeolus, the god of winds.

Sven Koch, CEO of Azumi Group, noted that the expansion into Athens marks an exciting chapter in Zuma’s international growth as the brand approaches its 25th anniversary.
