Zurich Airport passenger numbers rise 2.4 percent in July

Zurich Airport reported a 2.4 percent increase in passenger numbers for July, with a total of 3.3 million travelers passing through the facility. This growth was driven primarily by a 7.3 percent rise in passengers on European flights.

In contrast, intercontinental travel saw a decline of 3.3 percent. The number of flights increased by 4.3 percent to a total of 26,356 take-offs and landings. Commercial revenue from airside activities, including shops and restaurants, rose by 5.9 percent to 63.2 million Swiss francs.
