Zurich approves 2.7 million CHF for Juchhof infrastructure

The Zurich City Council has approved 2.7 million CHF for an infrastructure project to make the Juchhof stop on Bernerstrasse barrier-free. The project includes installing new curbs to facilitate easier boarding and exiting for passengers.

To improve traffic safety, the plan introduces a new bicycle path extending to the intersection with Bändlistrasse, effectively separating cyclists from pedestrians. Additionally, the project involves replacing old water pipes and laying new cables. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026, with an expected completion in spring 2027.
