Zurich Financial Services completes acquisition of ClearView Wealth

Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited has finalized its acquisition of ClearView Wealth Limited. The transaction follows approval from shareholders and the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

As part of the scheme, ClearView shareholders who held shares as of August 13, 2026, received $0.60 in cash per share. This follows a special dividend of $0.05 per share paid on August 12. ClearView's shares were suspended from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) on July 31, and the company intends to apply for removal from the official list on August 21, 2026.

Regarding operations, Zurich plans to integrate its three distinct product offers—Zurich, OnePath Life, and ClearView—onto a single digital platform by the second quarter of 2027. A full migration of ClearView business to the Zurich platform is expected to be completed by October 2027. In the interim, ClearView's ClearChoice product will remain available, and advisers will continue to work with existing ClearView business development managers for at least the next six to nine months.
