Zurich Seguros partners with AACD to fund accident rehabilitation

Zurich Seguros has launched a social campaign titled ‘Zurich Novos Caminhos’ in partnership with AACD to support the rehabilitation of traffic accident victims. Throughout September, the insurer will provide contributions for every Zurich Automóvel policy issued, with the company covering all costs without additional fees for customers.

The initiative aims to fund approximately 5,000 rehabilitation sessions. These services will be provided by AACD, an institution specializing in orthopedics and the care of individuals with reduced mobility or disabilities. Treatment plans may include physiotherapy, psychology, occupational therapy, and access to orthopedic products.

The campaign arrives amid rising traffic fatality statistics in Brazil. Data indicates that transport-related deaths in the country increased by 6.5% between 2023 and 2024, reaching 37,150 deaths according to DataSUS.
