Zurich's Soi 28 Launches New Menu as Schaffhausen Street Food Festival Draws Crowds
In Zurich, chef Stefan Heilemann and his partner Miguel Marques unveiled a new menu for the Thai‑inspired pop‑up Soi 28. Highlights include a butter‑tender suckling‑pig belly served with rice‑flour pancakes, green garnish and a lime‑infused crust, as well as a Kalamansi Spritz made with Champagne. The dishes blend Portuguese techniques with Asian flavours.
Meanwhile, the Schaffhausen Street Food Festival on the Münsterplatz attracted large numbers of visitors over the weekend. Attendees sampled a range of international stalls, including Japanese ice‑cream, Swiss beef tartare and vegetarian options, turning the historic town centre into a bustling culinary marketplace.
